有沒有人想帶/想讀D. Davidson的哲學閱讀小組？

絕對有，腦海中即時想到除了那兩本「天書」（collections of essays），有幾篇Davidson後期的文章是必讀。但時間的確是問題，帶的和讀的。也要組員肯付出，Davidson的文章已經很condensed、很dense，不能再paraphrase，需要讀的人親身去體驗一下的寫作和思考方法。

我個人的偏見是，Davidson是最後一個great analytical philosopher，也是第一個great post-analytical philosopher，所以讀哲學不可不讀Davidson。

看來不可能通讀，是不是可以選擇（1）選擇一個課題，如philosophy of action，或者meaning theory，攻讀他的文章和他人的意見；或（2）參考某些DD文選集的意見（Lepore等編的這本似乎不錯：http://www.amazon.com/Essential-Davidson-Donald/dp/0199288860/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1237456314&sr=8-1）通讀呢。也許還（3）可以結合（1）和（2）來讀。

我問了一位哲學系同學，他有興趣參加，另外一位師兄碩士時候研究Davidson，也表示興趣。

選題方面我沒有特別喜好，或者說，meaning也好，action也好，我都希望跟大家一起好好學習。

沒人帶組也沒所謂吧，我們共同參與也可，我想我們不一定要做總結（有當然好），直接組織幾點問題就大家討論了。

不如先選幾篇必讀文章？我可以提供每次所讀章節的電子檔案。

When and how we start and proceed?

I suggest we could start in or after May. I personally have to finish my master thesis before the end of May. In this period, some my ex-classmates would also be freer.

I suggest we do not make a grand plan, rather, we try to complete reading one article after another, preferring more participation and discussion than rushing to follow the schedule. So, we may select one essay to read first, when we finish the discussion, then proceed to the next one, no strict time limit. What do you think?
