:dunno:
There are two versions
http://www.dafont.com/1454-gutenberg-bibe.font
http://www.waldenfont.com/typecase.asp?productid=2&fontid=12
Which one is the original?

I mean....

I dunno... Because Font-types exist long ago well before Gutenburg's time !
But you can compare "0115" and "0094", you can realise that there still exist two types of the letter 's'.
If we do not know how to write the 's' properly, and we try to appear as "old-style", then it could be a bit weird----to those why might know about that style or that culture a little bit.

In German, Gotisch is the oldest. And Schwabacher is the second oldest. Then Fraktur has become a "standard" font to use. Before 1942, many German books were printed in Fraktur for the maintext, and with Schwabacher for the footnotes or for the "bold" words (yes, they do not have bold-types; instead, they would use Schwabacher, or they would emphasise the words l i k e t h i s).

Is it because of the position of s?:dunno:
Different forms appeared in the same passage:

Yes, there is a reason of which 's' is to be used. But I have really forgotten... But it is called "Long 's'" (and short 's'? ), and I have found an article in Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_s
Thanks. :ani_bowdown2:
It's interesting!
